hmmm see I tend to find it better to have a mix of strength, magic and summons. I especially love the expert sphere grid on ff10 because it leaves so much room for customisation. like in ff10, I have Aroun with mostly strength, Tidus with magic but before I do the final boss I beef up his strength also, and Yuna for healing magic and summons. In FF8 I have Squall and Zell strength, Rhiona and Selphie summons and Quistis and Irvine magic, which seems to work pretty well for me. I guess it all depends on what style of play you're into :)

Hah a combination of te three works really well also. :D

I too liked the sphere grid in Final Fantasy 10. I did so much craziness, like like I made Tidus maters his own abilities, along with Auron's and Wakka's as well. I wished I ha focused Lulu though, I practically ignored her, and that mistake caught up with me in the battle with Sin.

Your Final Fantasy 8 team sounds awesome. Zell is the powerhouse of the team isn't he lol. Hey did you ever fought Omega Weapon in Final Fantasy 8? It took me like two hours straight to beat him lol, without Lionheart to. I missed it when time compressed. I had to use Squall's punishment sword. I still wished I got Lionheart though.

I focused a lot on Lulu. In the begginers sphere grid I noticed that later on her magic attacks were awful so I took her down a few sidetracks to up her magic attacks. I also had Khimari, Wakka and Yuna learn some black magic, just in case. Oh and I had Yuna learn to steal and use!
I <3 my FF8 team, I'm playing it for the 4th time, and thats been my set up since the 2nd time (the 1st time I used summons waaayyy too much) It took me about an hour with Lionheart last time i played.
