As Roxas pushed the door open, the distinct scent of burning reached his senses. Panic fluttered through him for a moment, fearing a fire had broken out. There was no smoke, however, so he decided it was safe to enter - and as he did so, his eyes fell immediately on Axel. Well, he was certainly not Kairi, who Roxas was supposed to be meeting here, as was routine after school, for sparring.

His eyes narrowed. Bumping into Axel by chance was extremely slim, and slim enough to make Roxas immediately suspicious. The fact Axel had just been burning something wasn't helping his case, either. Not at all caring to make his tone polite, Roxas asked, "What are you doing here?"

Axel raised an eyebrow in surprise at Roxas' appearence. For once in his nobody-ish existance, he was truly innocent on the front that he had not followed Roxas here and had no idea Roxas even came here to begin with. "I could ask you the same thing," he said shortly, folding his arms. "Can't a guy train if he wants to?"

Unsurprisingly, Roxas found himself struggling to believe Axel. After all, he rarely even left the house, never mind doing anything like training, as far as Roxas knew. Stepping a little further inside the dojo, mostly to get a closer look at the indistinguishable black mess of ash, Roxas retorted, "And by 'train', you mean 'attempt to burn the building down'?"

"Nothing of the sort," Axel scoffed, shaking his head. "Unless you haven't noticed, you can't exactly practice fire in the streets. Not everyone is excepting of that sort of thing," he shrugged. This was probably most noticable by the government announcement - a while ago, yes, but it was still a point. A freak of nature would be arrested and well, there would go his freedom. "And what are you doing here?"
