My dad has been given a script for antibiotics so if he gets ill he can immediately get what he needs, no need to wait for doc. He has asthma and gets chest infections quite easily. So do I come to that but I usually spend a week trying to cough it out first, and then end up in an aching heap needing steroids. Hmm. Perhaps I should be less "brave".
I'm really glad you're on the mend, I was worried. Looking forward to seeing you. Get your carer to make you some "flash cards" with words and phrases on so you don't have to talk! :D
Very pleased to hear you were able to make decision/action that made a difference. Sorry to hear you're sick in the first place... but such things happen.

Still got lots of stuff i want to talk to you about, but it can wait until you are up to long verbal conversation (or maybe we could find some online IRC type way of chatting? i'm utterly clueless about that sort of stuff, but could probably work out how...)
Yeah, i really envy LWG. Wish i had got my shit together enough to go this year (tho i know it was a lot more sensible not to, as having a job and saving money is good). Is K still planning to do the same course next year? I ought to get up to Leeds and meet up with people (add it to my list of cities - Bristol, Manchester, Cambridge, Leicester...)
I think i have "emotion incontinence" of a sort. Probably for different neurological reasons, but there are sort of parallels...
