Last year, Rain- not the Rain that's here now, an older one- he held a dinner banquet for everyone at Christmas. I want to do something that would make him happy... preserve the memory, you know?

It's not going to be about who we are or what we've done to each other. It's just- a nice evening. Ticking off another year from the calender, being warm and kind. We can return to everything else the day after, if you still need to.
