[ There's a brief moment of panic that Joshua suppresses. He doesn't even know how to deal with this. The last time he even thought about his Ascension was...

No. Can't think about it now. Dealing with people now. Figuring out what the hell he's going to do can come later. ]

Oh yes, I'm fine. [ And he refuses to think about how miraculous it is that he actually doesn't sound panicked when he says it. ]

Just had a little surprise. It's nothing, really. [ He's not sure whether or not this is normal for her, but he can certainly tell that his Soul doesn't seem to be letting up any time soon. He has no idea if or how it would affect people under these circumstances... ]

[Now, Hisoka hadn't been directly in the area per se. It's just that he lives in House 49, which is fairly close to the center of town. So when Joshua's aura begins to flux out of control, it's enough to be mind-blowing for him, even with a solid wall separating them, even as a mere psychic echo. drive Hisoka outdoors to confront the source of -- of -- whatever that is.]

[ He's almost calm by the time Hisoka gets to him. Almost being the key word. ]

[He takes a moment to try finding the right words for what he wants to ask, but even now Josh is looking weirdly out of focus to him.] You-- You just did something... [Or something had just been done to him. Hisoka isn't sure which scenario applies here.]

[ Josh can't exactly sense anyone over the presence of his own Soul being EVERYWHERE in Luceti, so it's a little while before he looks up and happens to catch out of the corner of his eye-

He actually teleports backwards a couple yards, more for lack of control of his power than anything else. He has no idea how long Sanae has been there or why he didn't notice him faster or why he's there, but Joshua is still afraid that it might just be to take him out before he gets everything under control.

He says nothing, but he's visibly on guard. ]

[ Joshua doesn't have a response to that. He's never seen an Ascension, himself, so he's had no idea of judging just how close or far he'd been from his for however long it's been.

He's not letting his guard down, but he doesn't dare raise his vibe. Not when his powers are still under tenuous control at best.
