[ It was clear from the moment Jin entered the forest that Ragna wasn't there. The strange pull he felt whenever they were close wasn't around, instead there was an emptiness - perhaps even a longing. But that wasn't surprising. It'd been so long since they'd last seen each other, though that time didn't compare to back home. Had he not been searching hard enough...? That was likely the cause.

He almost felt irritated at his lack of effort.

However the forest wasn't the place for his regrets, nor was it the place for him. Jin turned on his heel to leave. Of course, as he neared the wood's edge, he caught sight of a bright light. That was enough to stop him, something that may well have been a feat. ] What is that...? [ An impediment, it seemed. Why? Because Jin felt compelled to investigate it.

His gaze instantly snaps to the newcomer, and his lips tighten into a line. He shoots the most intense glare he can manage, but it's probably hindered by the fact that this body doesn't seem that threatening at first glance. Well, aside from the glowing.

It doesn't help that Jin is extremely difficult to intimidate either. Glares and hatred tend to bounce off of him: he's far too accustomed to them to pay them any mind.

[ Joshua doesn't like being looked at like some sort of animal on display. He glares more and tenses, just a little, but doesn't answer. It's even more frustrating than he thought it would be, not being able to talk to someone who's right in front of him and questioning him. ]
