[ The sound makes him jump, and he's out of the chair, on his feet in a moment. The new wings make a strange noise as they shift and rustle behind him, but he pushes that to the side of his mind for now.

He has a few colored pencils gripped in a psych, reading to send flying in an instant if he needs to defend himself as he pulls open the door, not quite sure who's going to be on the other side. ]

[ Joshua's eyes narrow, at the person in the doorway almost as much as the name he doesn't even know is his own. He's seen this person around, but not often, and he's never actually spoken to him before. ]
