So I realized today I have made all the wrong decisions regarding my future up to this point.  I went to a school not known for my degree.  My school has no opporitunities others schools do.  I could have gone to a better school, but my HS Guidance Counselor knew nothing of what would be better.  I knew I should have gone to Stony Brook, but it was ( Read more... )

I agree, to the extent that larger schools would have more money and so your chance of doing experimental research is increased. U(r) has a lot of undergrads doing REUs at Fermilab and whatnot, which you don't really have access to. But one thing that is nice about Fredonia is the size of the classes. Here, there are more people in my classes than in ANY of the physics classes I've ever taken at Fredonia, even U. Physics 1. It's hard, because people ask a lot of questions and the lecture seems to go no where, which is certainly annoying. I'm tired of taking it slow. I WANT TO HAUL ASS!! ... ahem.

Anyway, I still think undergraduate physics isn't important. It's all about where you go to grad school. Just make the best of it that you can.
