I am so fucking sick of seeing gendered insults like skank and whore being thrown around and misused in online forums I LIKE. Especially since it just seems a goto whenever someone disagrees with a girl ( Read more... )

SugarSugarNoNo...I haven't seen someone become so hated so quickly on Superdickery since The Gray. It was really, really bad. But she was, almost without a doubt, a troll. Aside from the fact that she seemed to deliberately antagonize in numerous threads, constantly spoke about her shoes and clothes, and acted as unlikeable as possible...if we need hard evidence, we've got that, because despite her claims that she lived in New York, she was posting from a Virginia IP address.

Oh, if you like Cheetah though, check out Final Crisis: Resist! It was good and relatively self-contained. Also it had Ice and Fire (who had miscolored hair!) But Cheetah played a more notable role.

My last comment I swear! Virgie wants to know if you know that she's a girl.

ARGH I feel your pain. It's like, "Hi, everytime you say whore or skank or slut as an insult, you are being hateful to women. I do not CARE if you are a woman, your best friend is a woman, or you don't hate women. You are still being an asshole and I have every reason to call you on your hateful bullshit."

GAIL SIMONE TALKED TO ME!!!! Twice! She accepted my friend request on ze Facebook too! I said "I ... don't hate Tarantula?" and she said "Yeah, we've got lots of cool stuff planned for her. I like her mask :D" and then I said I couldn't tell if Dinah or Savant was prettier and she said Savant was meant to be a character who's half-Babs, half-Dinah. She's so cool, like how she answers peoples questions and concerns and even if she despised a character with every fibre of her being she still treats them with respect and gah. Three cheers for M(r?)s. Simone!
