This sounds really, really fun. You and I are interested in a lot of the same things, so I was especially glad to read this--a lot of the time, the Newsarama rundowns will go all over the place, only referencing the general beats. But you provided a much more in-depth review, which was nice, and I enjoyed hearing about the discussions you had with the creators. Todd Dezago's was interesting, although the only thing I've really read by him was Tellos, which didn't really click with my until the end--so I'm sort of glad he wasn't on Young Justice, despite how much it must have sucked for him to be shoved aside.

I was kind of glad too, because I didn't think he'd be as good as Peter David...didn't tell him that of course. I love his work on Impulse though.

Glad you had such a good time at the convention. You know, last August I went to my first comics convention (FanExpo, here in Toronto), and I felt rather lost. (I'd attended two Harry Potter cons previously, but they were quite different.)

I'm looking forward to going to FanExpo again this August though, since I now know so much more about comics, and am actually familiar with various comicbook artists and writers.

I know, right? She also gave me a card with a little chibi Tim. I want to cuddle him...scan it tomorrow, though I think I've seen it on the Internets before.

It sounds like you had such an awesome time--I'm so glad! And totally, totally jealous, you wench.

When I read the Newsarama article, I was actually wondering if the Spoiler questions were you and got a good squee out of it. :)

Todd Dezago is one of those writers that I would love to hang out and have drinks with--hopefully I get to do so one day. I love the way he loves Bart, love that he was totally not into the Carol relationship (blech) and hope that one day he gets to tell the story he should've.

Perhapanauts is the awesome.

Jann Jones is supremely nice too--as well as a very clever lady. I really like her.

I'm so glad you had an awesome time and picked up cool shwag--and got to have awesome convos and asked cool questions! Gorgeous commission piece too.

Yeah, I can't believe it went so well. I was so sure something would go wrong.

Yeah, I really want Todd to be able to write Max and Bart again someday. I miss Max almost as much as I miss Bart. *sigh* Well, I'll always have my back issues.
