This was pretty good. The flashforward opening with the three Batgirls side by side hooks the reader right away. I liked how Steph stubbornly went after Time Lapse time and time again, refusing to give up: Cass is the Batgirl who can't be hit, while Steph is the Batgirl who gets hit and keeps on coming. And I was amused by Time Lapse's silly name, cheesy time-based puns and over-the-top villainy... you've certainly captured the feel of a DCU villain.
Of course Babs would know about Booster Gold. He was there when she got shot... sort of. I'm honestly not sure how all that nonsense supposedly effected continuity. That series is single-handedly destroying more canon than every Crisis event put together.
“Please let it be post-corset,” *snicker*
Cass' reaction to seeing her dead best friend alive was so perfectly Cass. (The advantage to running into Cass after time travel is that you don't have to worry about proving who are. She just knows.)
Thanks! Yeah, Time Lapse is totally cheesy- that's the best thing about writing comic fanfic, you can make your villians cliche ridden and they still totally fit.
