Not really a pairing I'd considered before - but I don't read much slash anyway. But, I really enjoyed this. You have a lovely way with words which just made this an easy and intriguing read. :)

With me it's the other way around - I barely read het at all these days ^-^" As for this pairing, while the attraction between Walter/Lisbon was there and intended, I thought he had pretty much the same chemistry with Patrick - or maybe I just like seeing things ;)

I'd argue more chemistry (though not necessarily sexual), because I think in the second appearance, the Lisbon/Mashburn chemistry was too forced... and it completely put me off the character as a consequence.

It's all good. Sometimes, it's nice to read outside of your normal genres.

I have to say the 'morning after' scene with Walter realizing he was 'in bed with Dirty Harry' had it's appeal, though XD

Aw, thank you! :) Now I know at least two people (far too few; this pairing needs more love!) who ship Walter/Patrick ^-^ I thought those two had great chemistry when Walter showed up for the first time in "Red Line".

BTW: Love your icon! Another great slash pairing in the fandom :)

shadownashira and me, we were wondering some time ago that this fandom has so few slash fans; nowadays such a lack thereof is pretty unusual...

As long as mini FFs with 1,000 words are allowed, you can count me in! :)

I'm not really one for slash, but this was still really good. I liked the way that you wrote it, how it skipped and jumped around. Very well done I'd say.

To be honest, I don't like the canon any longer myself ^-^" I don't know what exactly is wrong with the show, but it has lost its appeal ever since season 4 came around...

The nonlinear style was a spur of the moment decision. Originally, this FF was pretty much only about cuddling in bed, but then I watched the SPN Animated Series and the coloring there - the red in the shadows - inspired me to give it more story/depth.

I think too that Jane needs to move on, let go of his past - but on the other hand, I don't think he can ever accomplish that without killing Red John, so here he gets his revenge.

PS: Watched 'Boondock Saints'... And... well... I don't see why it's cult ^-^" But I got my shirtless scene LOL - and it was good to have seen it once. Dafoe in drag, never again °_°
