Thank you! :) LOL Welcome to the club, it seems to be 'in' for people to write for the fandom without ever having seen "Skyfall" in cinema; I'm guilty as charged too XD I pre-ordered the DVD though, that has to count for something...

Here, watch this clip if you want to see how Bond and Q meet (it's not spoilery for the rest of the movie): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQ9H31z7OqM

Glad you liked it! I always get shivers down my spine, the way Craig says "Q" XD

LOL Everyone seems to think that Q is the long lost third Holmes brother or something :)

Well-written as always! This is a very unique interpretation of Q's character; I've read fics with dark!Q or bored!Q who hacks into stuff for fun but ultimately is a good guy, but Q here isn't malicious, exactly, just detached and uncaring and looking for more 'fun' even if it hurts people. It's chilling but plausible, and actually reminds me a little of Sherlock ( ... )

Thank you! Since this FF has an awful imbalance of 'telling' and 'showing', I was unsure if it would be received well by readers other than myself ^-^" Especially the torture... But then again, all is written in Q's POV, and that video making an emotional impact on him would have been OOC for my interpretation of his character ( ... )

You didn't have to worry, the story was well-conveyed from Q's POV. It's clear from the beginning that Q is pretty apathetic towards the world, so his reactions during the rest of the story fit ( ... )

I probably had these doubts because writing the FF took me a longer time than anticipated, what with my cold butting in to keep me away from the computer, and later I had read the first parts (up to Q agreeing in that conversation) so often that I could have rehearsed it ( ... )
