I like how you justify that Loki calls himself god. You turn all what happened into stepping stones for Loki.

Considering that most peoples idea of "dark" seems to contain an heavy emphasis on physical pain or mind-games, I guess this was relatively 'light'... °_0

I thought Loki is one of the Asgardian gods who actually worked for his abilities, like with his magic and studying and whatnot, so I wanted to show how his power is garnered. You found the perfect word for it "stepping stones" *nods happily*

LOL Thank you, sometimes I feel more like Master Yoda having swallowed a fortune cookie, when I write that stuff in the end - but it works for me :) Usually, it is just something that hits me unawares out of the blue when I want to wrap the FF up. It's interesting that Loki here kind of wins his power through pain. He *pays* for them.

That's the interesting part about Loki. He can't win, because the moment he does everything ends. Most of the time Loki simply rebalances things, even in the myths, but he never wins.
