rating: PG-15/R (To be on the safe side :D)
pairing: KoyaDa (Koyama Keiichiro/Ueda Tatsuya), others will appear in the story :P
genres: romance, comedy, AU
warnings: None. It's pretty safe since it's supposed to be a romantic Comedy
disclaimer: Like always, I own nothing but the plot, but please don't steal that one ;)

summary: Koyama loved his life. He loved his friends. He had a great job. He was happy. In his opinion love and relationships were overrated. So why did Ueda Tatsuya have to appear in his life?

Part 1

The sleep had helped Koyama to relax a little and he spent the afternoon cleaning his apartment. Somehow that was a good way to distract him. When there was a knock on the door, he jumped in surprise. "Haiii, I'm coming," he shouted. In a haste he tried to find a good hiding place for the cake he had been about to eat. The only people who would make such surprise visits were his mother, his sister or Shige. While his mother and sister would scold him for eating so much cake, Shige would laugh his ass off. Neither option was what he wanted right now.

In the end he hid the cake in the back of the fridge and hurried to the door. When he took a look through the door spy Koyama froze. Slowly he opened the door. "Ueda-kun, what are you doing here?" The blond man smiled at him gently, "Surprise visit," then he held up two plastic bags, "and I brought dinner." For a long time no one moved until Koyama took a step to the side to let Ueda in. Though he couldn't stop to gape at his surprise guest. Ueda waved the two bags. "The food is going to get cold," Ueda said. He tried to keep his amusement about Koyama's reaction out of his voice. Koyama blinked confused before he frowned. Instead of a response he waved for Ueda to follow him as he turned around and made his way to the kitchen.

"Do we need plates," Koyama asked without looking at his guest. Ueda set the bags on the table, "Depends on what you want." Now Koyama turned around, "What did you bring anyway?" "I brought Ramen," Ueda confessed embarrassed. "I didn't know what you like and I heard that your family runs a Ramen Restaurant. It seemed like the safest option." Koyama was baffled and wondered what this was all about. But for some reason he thought he shouldn't ask. "Okay, then we only need chopsticks and glasses. Do you want a beer?" Koyama offered while he grabbed the mentioned things. Ueda gulped at the view of the kneeling tall man before him. "A beer would be nice," he agreed grateful.

When everything was arranged and they were seated at the table Koyama stared at the yummy Ramen. He was just too confused about what was happening. He opened his mouth a few times before he finally voiced his confusion. "Ueda, what is this really all about?" Koyama whispered. But in the silence Ueda heard him clear and loud. He lifted his head from his Ramen and saw that Koyama stared at his own dinner with a frown. With a sigh Ueda laid down his chopsticks. "It's just what you see. I wanted to do something with you, talk to you, get to know you personally. I hoped you would be free today and I thought that a dinner would be a start." He cleared his throat in embarrassment when Koyama only stared at him.

"What are you trying to achieve with this?" Koyama asked, "If you think this is going to make me sleep with you, forget it." Ueda frowned at that before he sighed. "I meant what I said. I came to visit you because I want to get to know you," he cleared his throat again, "Sure, I'm not going to lie and say I'm not attracted to you. But while I do want to sleep with you, I'm interested in all of you, not only your body!" Koyama blinked in surprise at the anger and hurt he sensed in Ueda's voice. He licked his lips nervously and decided to trust the blond man for now. "So what are your plans for the rest of the evening?" Ueda smiled in relief. "I didn't really have anything particular planned. I just thought we could spend a relaxing evening together." He answered with a shrug of his shoulders.

Koyama simply watched Ueda for a while which made the blond man uncomfortable. Finally he smiled, "I guess we'll have to see what the evening brings." Now Ueda grinned. In a spurt of the moment he raised his glass, "let's toast to this as a new start for us!" Koyama raised his glass to respond to the cheers. Their glasses met with a silent tinkle and Koyama blushed when he noticed the intense stare Ueda threw him over his glass.

The rest of the dinner continued in a relaxed atmosphere. They talked about everything that came to their mind and generally enjoyed the evening. Afterwards they cleaned their dishes and moved to the couch where they continued their conversation. Somehow they ended up watching a movie that Koyama didn't know which had shocked Ueda. Half way through the movie Koyama realized that he had cuddled up to Ueda and that Ueda had his arm around his shoulder. In surprise Koyama froze. When he glanced at his guest though, he saw that the blond man was fully concentrated on the movie. Ueda must have noticed his glance because he turned to look at Koyama. "What is it? You don't like the movie?" He asked.

It was probably the smirk Ueda gave him that made Koyama lean forward and devour the man’s lips. For a short second Koyama wondered what he was doing. He relaxed when Ueda responded instantly. The feelings of the morning returned and made Koyama all dizzy. Ueda's hand stroked over Koyama's face and he slowed the kiss. After what felt like hours their lips parted only to meet again a second later. Just when Koyama considered to jump over his shadow, Ueda stopped to kiss him and sighed. "I think I should go," he whispered in a regretful voice. Koyama’s eyes flew wide open, "What?" Ueda smiled sadly at Koyama's shocked face. "As much as I would love to continue, let's not for today. I don't want you to regret it tomorrow," Ueda admitted. With another sigh he got up from the couch. Koyama could only watch him wide eyed and open mouthed.

After Ueda had put on his jacket he turned around and looked at his host. Slowly Koyama stood up and followed Ueda to the front door. The blond man slipped into his shoes and then the two of them stood still, simply watching each other. Suddenly Ueda grabbed Koyama's face and pulled him into a short but intense kiss. With a growl he let go, "Damn it, I never thought it would be this hard to resist you. Your charm is pulling me in and you’re just too seducing." Koyama opened his mouth to answer but was stunned silent by Ueda's lips on his fore head. "Don't stay up too late. I'll call you," Ueda told him before he was out of the door. Koyama blinked confused at the door and didn't move for what felt like ages. Then his fingers moved to his mouth in a move that felt way too girly. What the hell just happened? Koyama's heart was beating like crazy. He couldn't lie to himself anymore. Not only was he attracted to Ueda, he had fallen head over heels and loved the man more then he should.

The next day when Koyama entered TA after a night with practically no sleep, he stopped dead in his track. Tegoshi was back and he was talking to Erika, as was Ryo. Erika was the first one to notice him and she greeted him with a bright smile. "Keii-chan, ohayou. How are you today?" For some reason Koyama got the feeling that Erika was annoyed and wanted to be saved. "Good Morning Eri-chan," he responded with a wary smile. He didn't like seeing Tegoshi twice in such a short time. And he wondered why Ryo was here. The Situation was saved and answered when Ueda appeared. "Ryo, move your ass, the break is over," he almost shouted. Ryo turned around with a frown, "No need to shout jerk. And I'm still talking to Erika-chan." Ueda rolled his eyes, "You can flirt later. Now we've got to go back to rehearsal or do you want Kame to get angry?" A slight shudder went through Ryo. "Seems as if I need to go back to work," he told Erika with a sigh who only smiled at him. It was Tegoshi who gave Ryo a grin and an overjoyed wave. "Bye, bye," he said with too much happiness.

This was the moment Koyama decided to step forward. "Yuya, what are you doing here? Again?" He asked in an annoyed voice. Tegoshi turned to him with a bright smile, "Keii-chan! Visiting you of course. What else?" "Bullshit," Koyama hissed, "Stop trying to keep up that lie. And stop to keep our receptionist from working!" He didn't let Tegoshi answer and turned around to look at Ueda and Ryo. "And what are you doing here? Didn't you have free today?" Koyama asked them a little confused. Instead of an answer, Ueda took his hand. He told Ryo again to move his ass before he started to pull Koyama into the direction of the rehearsing rooms. On the way Ueda intertwined their fingers and gave Koyama's hand a squeeze. Unknown to them, Tegoshi had watched that with a frown.

In the small sport room that was made for dance training, Koyama stopped in his tracks again. Today was the day of surprises it seemed because Yamapi was sitting at the side on the floor. He was talking to Kamenashi while his lap was occupied by a sleeping Jin. "I got Ryo so we can continue training," Ueda said loudly and Koyama was a little delighted to see Jin flinch. "Ueda you're too loud," growled the man who was now awake. That's when Yamapi saw Koyama. "Keii-chan, good morning," he smiled brightly at his manager and waved enthusiastically. He moved so much that Jin got up to glare at him before he yawned. The others greeted Koyama too but didn't pay him that much attention. Koyama looked at everyone wide eyed. "Can someone explain this to me?" He finally asked. His voice was filled with confusion, irritation and slight anger. Why wasn't he informed?

"We're training. Aren't we supposed to have a dance sequence in our first Performance?" Kame told him, "I just want our band to give their best!" Koyama gaped at him before he sighed. "Next time inform me at least," was his response. Then he turned to Yamapi, "And you? What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be learning your script? The filming starts soon, right? You also have an appearance on Music Station today. In three hours you have to be there for the final rehearsal and fitting of your clothes. Why are you lazing around here?" Before anyone could answer they were distracted by a loud call outside, "AKANISHI JIN, WHERE ARE YOU?" The mentioned man opened his eyes wide in shock, "Yabai." He tried to hide behind Yamapi but it was too late.

Nakamaru already stormed through the door. His eyes roamed over the room until they settled on Jin. "Jin, what the hell? Get up! You're an hour over your studio time. Do you know how hard it is to get that? Especially for this long?" Nakamaru ranted with a glare at Jin, "How do you want to release that album if you don't produce the music?" When Jin opened his mouth to protest, Nakamaru raised his finger and stared him down with a glare. "You can complain later, now move or I'm going to cancel the album release," he told Jin who gaped at him in shock. "You can't do that Maru," he whined. Maru didn't even look impressed. "I will if you don't take this seriously," he promised. "You're mean Yuuchi, " Jin pouted as he got up. He sighed when Nakamaru turned around and left the room without an answer.

With a shake of his head Jin crouched down to kiss his boyfriend good-bye. He jumped again when he heard Maru shout, "Don't even start that Jin. Move!" In wonder Jin looked at the door. How has Maru known what he wanted to do from outside? "I'm sure he's psychic! There's just no other way," Jin mumbled before another shout made him jump up and run after his manager. On his way he almost ran Koyama over and apologized with a loud "sorry". Then he was out the door leaving everyone in an astonished silence.

After a few minutes Koyama was the first to move. "Nakamaru is right, you wasted time Pi. Get your stuff, we're leaving," he ordered. Yamapi simply nodded and got up. Koyama then looked at the members of his new band 'Butterflies'. "It's okay to use your free day to train, but next time tell me!" he told them before he left the room. Outside he checked the clock on his phone to see how much time they had left. Koyama squeaked when he suddenly felt a hand on his back. "Sorry, I didn't want to surprise you," Ueda told him a little amused by the squeak.

Koyama shook his head after he had calmed down, "No, it's fine. What is it?" He tensed when Ueda cupped his cheek and stroked over it with his thump. "Are you okay?" Ueda asked him softly. Koyama stared at him for a moment and without realizing he started to smile. "I'm fine, just a little surprised about everything," he promised him. Ueda responded with a relieved smile. "You know," he started, "there's this movie in cinema at the moment that I want to see. I wanted to ask you if you would like to go together with me?" Once again Koyama was taken by surprise. How did Ueda manage to come with ideas like this seemingly out of nowhere?

Koyama however didn't have a chance to answer because the door to the training room opened and Yamapi came out. He blinked when he saw Koyama and Ueda standing so close. Koyama instantly blushed and took a step back. "Ready to go?" He asked with a clear of his throat. Yamapi simply nodded as an answer. Without a glance back Koyama turned around and left with quick steps. Yamapi threw Ueda an apologetic look before he hurried after his manager.

From one moment to the other Ueda found himself alone in the now empty corridor. He released a frustrated sigh and pulled a hand through his hair. After kicking the wall he re-entered the training room...right into an argument. "That's ridiculous Ryo," Kame snorted, "Why would Erika-chan be interested in you? She's much too good for you." Ryo in return sneered and crossed his arms. "As if she would like a stuck up guy like you who has a stick up his ass," a snort escaped him, "Besides, you're so gay!"

Kame glared at that, "I'm Bi, that's totally different. Also, while we're at it, you're totally in a relationship with Uchi. So you don't get to talk. You seriously need to grow up!" "Are you saying I'm childish? And I'm not in a relationship with Uchi. He's just my best friend," Ryo growled. Kame opened his mouth to respond, but Ueda tuned them out. With raised eyebrows he turned to Ohkura who shrugged his shoulders. Ueda shook his head about his band mates as he went to get his mobile. He wanted to write Koyama because he wanted an answer, but as he opened his phone he blinked in surprise. He had already received a message from Koyama.

You haven't told me what movie you wanted to watch. If it's a movie I'm willing to watch, then yes, we can have a cinema date. Just cinema and maybe a little snack before or afterwards. Don't prepare something big! And don't overdo it today. Tell that to the others too.

A big smile spread on Ueda's face as he read the message. He really had fallen in love. He hoped he wouldn't mess this chance up. "What are you smiling about? You look like an idiot." He was brought out of his thoughts by Kame. When he saw his band mates watching him Ueda licked his lips. "It’s nothing," he told them and hoped to get away with it. "He was reading something in his phone. He probably got a message from his new boyfriend," Ohkura informed Kame and Ryo while he yawned sleepily. Both dropped their mouth open in shock. "Why didn't you tell us that you had a new boyfriend?" Kame accused. "Come on, you need to tell us more. Who is it? How did you meet?" Ryo questioned him excitedly, "Wait, did you manage to get Koyama?"

Ueda rolled his eyes at his bandmates antics, "No and no. Now let's continue training." He told the others, but Ryo's hand shoot forward to snatch his phone. Ueda protested loudly, but Ryo was already reading Koyama's message. Afterwards he smirked at Ueda. "So you did get Koyama after all," Ryo teased. The other two stared at Ueda in wonder. Ueda snatched his phone back while he glared at them. "It's not like that. We're only going to the cinema," he confessed, "and please keep it to yourself. Not everyone needs to know." "Wow, you really love him, don't you?" Kame asked. Ueda only looked away and cleared his throat. Kame rolled his eyes, "Just make sure you won't let this interfere with our work." At the glare Ueda threw Kame, the other two had to hold in their laughter.

In the car Koyama blushed and cleared his throat after he hit send. Yamapi who was sitting next to him, turned to look at him. "Someone's in love," he said with smirk. Koyama blushed even more but shook his head. "Not at all," he tried to deny. Yamapi’s smirk grew even wider but he said nothing. The silence stretched and after a while Koyama slapped Yamapi’s arm, "Stop it!" Now Yamapi broke into laughter. "What am I doing?" he said innocently with a big smile. Koyama rolled his eyes and simply turned away from Yamapi. Yamapi’s smile turned into a warm one. "Keii-chan, it's nothing to be ashamed of. I'm sorry for teasing you. I'm just so happy for you. You deserve to be happy! You're working way too much," he told his manager.

Koyama looked at him in surprise, but choose not to comment. He didn’t get a chance anyway since Yamapi’s phone rang that moment. Apparently Jin missed his boyfriend already. It was then that his own phone beeped to announce a new message. Ueda wrote him about the movie and asked him if he wanted to go. And if yes, then which date would suit him best. Koyama was relieved because it was a movie he wanted to watch anyway. With a bite on his lip he wrote his answer. Afterwards he smiled brightly. Maybe this really was the right decision.
