"Did you just arrive here?"

"Out of...ah...curiosity. Who's in charge, here?"

"In theory, the Queen of Hearts. She's this...person who lives inside the mirrors. That's possible, here."

Tulio takes a moment to laaaaugh and laugh and laugh and-

Sigh.

"Yes. Unfortunately."

And he knows how it sounds, and he's been called crazy more than enough for one lifetime, so. Let's get it out of the way, Tulio.

Tulio shrugs, "I've heard crazier. You know, my friend and I once had an entire city of natives think we were gods?"

A snicker, then a sigh.

"Ahhh...well. Don't suppose people are that gullible here."

"Probably not. But there's a group of alien kids here who say they created Earth."

"Ali-what?"

Aliens aren't exactly well-known in Tulio's time.

"Just...I...forget it. There's almost too much to deal with."

"The kids with gray skin and horns. They're...nevermind."

It is a lot to take in, even when you're from the 20th century.

"Have you found a room yet?"

"I've got a room with my old partner, I think. He's managed to survive here so far without me, but I can't leave him alone for a second or he'll get into trouble."
