It seems to be the day to have arrivals from London. It's almost a comfort, in an odd way.

And, no, the City is not usually overrun by wild animals.

I am, yes, though I have to ask when you're from. I've met a few others from London, but few from my own time.

Yes, it is a curse and, like all curses, I would assume it affects all those struck by it directly.

I just came from 2008.

Something similar to today's curse happened to me once, actually. I'm glad it doesn't seem to be affecting me today.

And you don't have to pay for the apartments right away, you can take one now.

I'd like to understand the City perhaps a little more before I go lunging to claim an apartment. Also, I'd like to not get savaged on my way. Bit of a priority for me.

Hey there, Harold Saxon from London. I'm Penny, and this is super-helpful if you want to know about the City and have a lot of time to read while you're cornered in the library.

If you ever need anything--winter clothes, a place to stay until you find an apartment, a meal--you can come by the Welcome Center. It's in the middle of the City by the fountain. Or you can always ask around if you need something. Almost everyone's really friendly and willing to help out.

Hardly affecting me at all, really. I'm sure I'd have ended up in the Library even if there wasn't a curse on.
