Well, of course I knew I'd come back in some capacity but to come back exactly as I was before I died--that wasn't quite as guaranteed. Alive rather than "undead".
The Master answers the door in his customary black trow and a light blue shirt, his hair still wet from the shower and sticking up where he's scrubbed at it with the towel. "Rose! Wonderful!" he says, going forward to hug her. "I'm sorry you had to go through that." He's going to have to surreptitiously rake through her mind at some point...possibly a little less than surreptitiously. Breaking off from the hug, he pulls on the black jumper he's been holding in his left hand. "Are you all right now? You had a rather strong reaction, which I assume was due to some sort of curse."
Harry! I'm so glad you're back, and in time for Thanksgiving, too!
Don't worry about it, okay? I'm pretty sure I said some stupid things when I died, too; it's just a thing that happens. And I'm sorry I didn't get the stains totally out. Blood's a little more--stainy? cleaning resistant?--stainy than I thought it'd be.
I wouldn't have wanted to miss it, especially after promising to bring the pie.
No, it's quite all right. Blood is really a very difficult stain. I have a few cleaning methods that I'll try using on it but it's really not too difficult to replace the carpet if they don't work. I assumed I'd have to, which is why it was so pleasant to see such a large amount of the stain gone. Thank you again.
The notion that people cannot die here is rather unsettling, even after several months. Especially in light of the news of my son
I am glad to know, however, that no permanent harm has come to you, sir. To think the boxes might kill someone properly.... Our 'Deities' have twisted senses of humor.
Mm. And hopefully, you're either from before a point where I started interfering or from an alternate universe. I'll have to make sure he never learns my actual name all the same.
I hope you, yourself, escaped as unscathed as can be expected from this curse.

Oh, that. I did notice that, actually. I have no clue why that's happening. I'm not denying, I really haven't the faintest idea why she has butterfly associations, other than, possibly, the fact that we went to visit a butterfly garden on Halloween. Perhaps the curse was exacerbating that memory? She seems to be all right now.

I appreciate your concern. I don't believe I've met you previously? My name is Harold Saxon. It's a pleasure.

Oh, do forgive me. I am Franz Joseph von Habsburg. It is likewise a pleasure making yours, Mr. Saxon.
