If I may know, why would you not like her to know you're back? You've asked me if you can help in any way, and I would think your presence might be comforting, if nothing else.
She could see that not everyone she knows has gone missing or is dead.

I believe I may be frustrating to her. The last time she suffered such a loss, I believe I made things worse. I want to protect her, and to help, but from a distance. This is what seems best.
From what you say, she has not realized that I am missing. This also seems ... for the best, to me. I do not want to harm her.
