Who: hellofashow, lostorder and eventually hahanoises
When: Some time last evening, soon after everyone's arrival in the Town.
Where: The Café, then everywhere!
What: Axel and Xion are looking for Roxas.
Warnings: Toothrotting adorableness. Possible angst. You know the drill for these three.

As soon as she heard Axel on the network, as soon as he even acknowledged that he knew her, she was quick to turn around and find him. The cafe, he said. The cafe they were supposed to run. How would they even manage it? None of them - well, maybe Axel - had experience. What had Xemnas been thinking.

No, that didn't matter. Axel was here, and he remembered her. And Roxas too- Would he remember her as well? She had to know. She had to hope.

Xion ran back towards the cafe, her coat clinging to her as she hurried to the shop. She could have taken a portal, but...she wasn't so sure she'd end up anywhere near the cafe. Who knows if Xemnas would tamper with one and make sure she came back to the Organization willingly? The long way was better, and she arrived at the cafe in no time flat, looking for the red head of hair that was Axel. Even the black coat would be enough.

Oh. There he was. "Axel!" she called, raising a hand. Her breath caught in her throat a little, wondering...would it still be the same? Would it be okay?

Axel was standing, leaning against the wall, eyes closed. But when he heard the footsteps and that familiar (it was familiar) voice, he turned towards it and his face lit up like the sun itself.

"Xion! It's so good to see you again!" Then he couldn't help himself; hanging around Sora, however brief that time had been, had made him able to feel again, even if it were just a little bit. He wrapped his lanky arms around the girl in a motion he vaguely remembered from his human life; a hug. A sign of affection and friendship. It didn't last long though. Soon he'd let go and was rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly, but he was still smiling.

Xion stopped before him, smiling, suddenly finding herself in his arms and close to him. She stared for a moment, before she hugged him back as well, tightly. He really did remember her. She stepped back and beamed up at him, laughing at his face.

"It's good to see you too." She glanced behind him at the shop briefly, almost frowning at the idea that they'd be working there. She turned back to him. "Have you heard from Roxas? Is he here?"

He laughed back, smiling. Then he checked the small PDA-like device that linked him into the Mog-net. "I just got a message from him before you showed up. He hasn't responded back yet."

He gestured vaguely, putting the PDA back in his pocket. "Which means... he's here SOMEWHERE... but where?"
