See, Fang hadn't been the first one to go swimming in the spring today. It's no one's fault, since there had been no clothes as a sign that someone else was in here, and no splashing or even signs of surfacing in all the time she looked at the spring.
Since Jecht had been simply floating near the bottom, enjoying the comfort of the water and thinking, for something like ten minutes.
But what had just splashed in? He kicked up, head breaking the surface as he blinked to clear his eyes.
Fang's first instinct was to leap out for her spear, thinking that this was some sort of swimming Heartless or Nobody - as though they all needed more of 'em - but it became completely apparent that this was no enemy. Too bad her spear was already halfway in the guy's face.
Awkwarrrrd.
There was a pause before she lowered it and set it back out of the water, a little frown on her face. "Where the hell'd you come from?"
Not really, considering she'd been wandering around here for quite awhile before getting in the water. Considering Fang prided herself on her hunting skills, which included sensing things before she saw them....yeeeah, that explained nothing at all.
She ignored his first comment and frowned again. "You got gills or something? I couldn't see you at all down there."
Wandering about when she didn't have work, helped Tifa to keep her mind off of things. It was a bit too early for people to really come in and have a drink and the moogles were always on standby anyway. They were improving their recipes and she was so proud of them.
Ever since Denzel had left, Tifa found herself wandering more and more. Maybe it was because she didn't have a child to look over anymore? But then it left her with nothing to do but run a bar. Or maybe go out and fight a couple of monsters -what were they called, anyway?
When she heard a splash from nearby, she curiously made her way closer to the location from which the sound came from. Peeking from behind a tree, she noticed clothing and then...?
Oh! Was that Fang? They didn't talk often but Tifa made it a priority to remember her guest's names.
Interruptions weren't so bad when she knew where they were coming from. The voice sounded vaguely familiar, too, though when Fang glanced up, she realized she would've been able to recognize the woman better if she was behind a bar.
"Tifa, right?" Her tone made it clear that she didn't mind the interruption. "The water ain't half bad if you're lookin' to come in." If you didn't mind the initial ice cube quality it had, at any rate.
She nods, walking a bit closer now that the woman had acknowledged her. She stopped right at the edge of the spring and smiled a bit.
"Thank you, but I don't think I'll be joining you." Ahahaha, Tifa hates this stupid scar that ruins everything. She would honestly love to join in the swimming. Instead she sits down and removes her shoes and socks, dipping her legs into the water.
Fang shrugged, figuring it was none of her business. For once. She was feeling too relaxed to harp on it and hey, Tifa had stopped, at any rate.
"Gettin' away from those chocobos? Or the bar?" She grinned, lifting her arms out of the water in a stretch and sent drops of water flying everywhere. "There's so many of 'em that I wouldn't be surprised if they came in for a drink."

"I do, however, think a break sounds good."
