For Seifer, it had been what had come after that week that had been the worst. To have to remember that he'd been that much a jerk to his posse (or what there was of it) not once but twice? That was once more than he could really stand, and so after careful consideration of what sort of things he might say to bring up the conversation that should have happened he simply threw up his metaphorical hands and decided to ignore the problem.

If he ignored it hard enough he wouldn't have to bring it up, right?

Still, that didn't mean he particularly liked hearing the sound of someone knocking on his door. "Don't bother."

By which he mostly meant 'it's open'.

Seifer barely had time to properly register that he'd been punched before finding Fujin rather abruptly in his face. Whch was, no offense, a lot closer than he would really have liked a lot of people to be.

"Yeah, sure," he answered, resisting the urge to add a dismissive sort of handwave. "Now will you get your face out of mine?"

Congratulations, Fujin, Seifer has reached normal levels of dickishness.

Fujin didn't move for a long moment, single eye searching Seifer's icy blue ones. Finally, though, she nodded and pulled back, a lightly triumphant glint in the one red eye, and she stood, dusting herself off.

Much better, she could only think as she glanced back at the man over her shoulder.

She watched him a moment longer before tilting her head towards the door. "LUNCH." She said. "SEIFER, PAYING."

Once Fujin had removed herself from his personal space, it wasn't long at all before Seifer climbed to his own feet. He'd been moping long enough, and really, he didn't much feel like getting himself punched again. Once was enough; Fujin never did pull her blows (and he wouldn't have asked her to).

"Why the hell am I buying?"

"OWE ME," she replied simply, expression smug.

There was a moment of silence from Seifer at that.

"Tch, fine."

Fujin's smug smirk curled wider, a victorious glint in her one eye. And with that, she turned, pulling the door of Seifer's room open and stepping out, waiting for him to join her before the pair headed out to the cafe.
