Who: Hayner, Kairi, and Olette (Sora may jump in/show up too eventually, as may Roxas, now that I think about it... Anyone else relevant could pop in for a post or two, such as Axel for Hayner-hiding-behind-Olette shenanigans.)
What: Hayner, finally gotten the low-down on what exactly was going on, is found by Kairi to be taken back to the hotel.

"Mm. Well, we should probably get you to the hotel." Kairi said, after musing for a moment. "You need to get all that sand off of you, and--" A smile crossed her face, "Olette would probably be thrilled to see you in person."

Actually, it was kind of surprising that Olette hadn't showed up yet. She wouldn't be surprised to meet her on the way back, though.

Hayner nodded, wrinkling his nose as he looked down at himself, trying to dust himself off just a little bit more, to no avail.

"So, uh..." he scratched his head idly. "Lead the way, I guess."

With that, the pair set off across the beach, making their way to where sand ended and sidewalk began.

Hayner tried to take in his surroundings, other than just the ocean. There were buildings... and the beach. At least, as far as he could tell. That was the thing about new places, the area you could take in and be aware of at one time was so much smaller than someplace you had been many times before...

"Waugh!" Hayner managed to catch his balance before he fell flat on his face. He looked back, and scowled. Of course there was a step there. He glared at it, then turned to catch up with Kairi, who had paused to wait for him, still smiling.

After getting off the mognet with Hayner, Olette began to pace her and Kairi's room. She had planned on waiting, but she just couldn't. It had been so long since she had seen one of her best friends, she really couldn't wait.

Quickly, she slipped out of the hotel and began towards the beach. It was one of her favorite places to go, so she knew the way without really thinking.

With ocean in sight, her step began to quicken. Hayner! Hayner was really here! Excitement filled her being, and upon finally spotting the male, she couldn't help but let out a squeal.

"Hayner!" She cried, rushing to him and tackle hugging him almost instantly. She couldn't help it; she had missed him so much!

Kairi couldn't help but giggle a little when Hayner tripped and fell, and put her hands behind her back. It was funny, after all.

When Olette came, she stepped back. Well, there she was. Not that she was surprised -- she really wasn't.

So she remained quiet, wanting to let the two have their own reunion. Kairi didn't want to mess anything up; it wasn't like she'd want a reunion like that with Sora or Riku be intruded on anyway.
