Who: Squall, Seifer-- possibly anyone else who wants to harass Squall. What: Someone needs to stop being a hermit. When: Now-ish. Where: Squall's room, and then who knows where. Warnings: Probably swearing

Seifer'd spent a much less miserable month than Squall (and a shame he hadn't thought to go check on him sooner) but all the same he was more than glad to be out of that tin suit. Clanking as he walked along hadn't really been his idea of fun. But that was done and now it was high time to go and have a little chat with his favorite brooding mercenary.
Conveniently, it hadn't been too hard to get his room number from the guy manning the front desk.
'Sup Squall, you have a visitor, and it sounds almost like he's kicking the door, instead of knocking.
And of course, someone had to come along and ruin it.
More than likely, it wouldn't work pretending not to be there. Anyone who cared enough to visit probably knew Squall didn't leave his room much. He had a feeling he knew who it was, too. (Who else would practically beat down the door?)
A very monotone, very unhappy: "What."
...He's still pissed that Seifer refuses to tell him anything about what's happening to their world.
The way Seifer figured it, Squall would figure it out sooner or later. Besides, he's never really been anyone to offer that sort of information to Squall in the first place. Let Quistis take care of it, or hell, anyone who wasn't him. The only people he told things to were his posse and they'd earned that sort of respect.
Besides, Squall made the best faces if you straight up told him 'no'.
"Don't tell me you're gonna stay in the whole time you're here."
All of which is true, but Squall still finds it intensely irritating since the whole world is at war and he's stuck in this craphole. ...Sigh.
"What if I am?"
Finding the world's heart didn't do much... Or rather, anything, that he'd been able to observe. Xemnas was elusive. No one else had been able to find any kind of way out. That left two options: socialize or stay in his room. The answer seemed obvious.
If Squall listens--well, frankly, at all--he can hear Kefka squawking outside his window. This is totally not because he was killing heartless on the roof, fell off and managed to grab Squall's window before he fell. Really. Nor is it because this is a perfect opportunity to try and learn more about Squall. Completely.
Squall did his best to ignore the squawking and ruckus outside. He really did. Especially since that obnoxious voice was oh-so-obviously Kefka's. (Maybe he'll get lost if I ignore him long enough.) ...Wrong. That never worked. So eventually, he'll get sick of listening to him and look up from his book. Have a look of indifference, Kefka.
That's a lie. Use of Float and long experience with avoiding damage from falling off large heights have helped Kefka get out of longer falls than this without a scratch.
But now that he's got Squall out of his pen, he's curious. First off, let's see how mercenary the boy really is...
Too bad. Squall's more observant than you think, you see. And he already thought of that. He's now wearing a look of 'Not buying it,' which... really-- doesn't look that much different from indifference.
