Plus, Namine didn't ever make it to the cafe before the Mist came in, and it was close to the hotel. From what she had heard before, there wasn't any Mist around this area when it rolled into town.
And it was an interesting surprise to see Xion and Roxas working here. "Purple really is your colour," she smiled lightly while still standing in front of the door. 'I just sit wherever?"

She pauses, and... well, she can't help herself. "Eat up, or it's gonna melt!"

After a while of nibbling on the bar, trying to catch any drippings from falling on the table, Namine pondered while looking at Xion. "So... are you... enjoying it here?" She was aware of the weight of the question, given that she knew some problems that Xion had, but couldn't help but be a little curious.

The nightmares, Saïx... ugh. Sometimes, they made her feel like... maybe it'd be better if she's not here. But now, when she tells Naminé about her friends in this bright, sunny place... She feels a little foolish for feeling like that.

"It's," looks like honesty's winning this battle, "...it's different from what... I'm used to." She's keep her eyes locked on the table, not really feeling up to looking directly at Xion, "And it's strange. But I..."
Shaking her head, she decided to go a different route. "I think I'll enjoy it here. but it might just take some getting used to is all."

Xion pauses, though. Being someone who employs avoidance tactics herself, she's able to recognize the signs almost immediately. She's struck by the realization that she doesn't know anything about Naminé at all. She wonders... what she's had to go through to get to this point. What's your story?

Namine looked up when she got the feeling that something wasn't right. And that probably meant it was something she said. Looking a bit worried for Xion, she asked, "Are you alright?"

"Huh?" Xion blinks, genuinely confused. "Yeah, I'm fine."

There was a pause before she asked, "Are you sure?"

She blinks again. What is this...? "Yeah." Maybe she made a face earlier when...? "Sorry if I worried you. I was just thinking."

She took a look around the cafe, noting all of the customers that trickled in, a lot that Namine didn't recognize. "I-I better let you get back to your work. But," she paused, and turned back to Xion, a blush and smile on her face, "thank you Xion, for sitting with me."

She smiles. "It's no problem. Hey, when we figure out when we're going to have that party, we'll let you know."
