Happy New Year!!! I'm thinking your closest "main" town is Berlin, and I was lucky to catch some of the fireworks from there on the TV, very exciting!

Yay reviews! Thanks very much for these :) I totally noticed the credits thing in Eragon. I realise its meant to be a children's film but I walked out of the cinema thinking "that was soooooo lame" :P

I had no idea Rose Byrne was in MA! All the more reason to watch it now.

TOTALLY. I only realised a few minutes before watching the film that Rose Byrne was in it and I got hyped up much much much more then I already was. She's great in it!

I saw Marie Antoinette yesterday! That has got to be one of the most visually.. prettiest films ever. I couldnt stop starring at the dresses and furniture and food and even the wallpaper. Rose Byrne on crack - that was fantastic! It was extremely weird how they had American accents though :\

Eragon is very much like Star Wars but in a Lord of the Rings landscape and without a Han Solo. Therefore, it makes the film rather tedious. The basic fact that magic is used to solve situations, and the Princess needs to be rescued (just like Leia) which then leads to a larger battle (like the Death Star attack) makes it very Star Wars like.

See Marie Antoinette if it is the type of film you think you would enjoy! Keep an open mind and you'll love it!!! :D

Everyone have poor reviews for Erangon and I hate that cause I love that kind of movies, Im gonna watch it though and probably will buy the book cause they always are way better but I really hope I like Marie Antoinette, Sofia Coppola is magical and knows how to express something ver well people said that Lost in traslation was boring and depressing and maybe it was but it was a piece of art anyway!

I love fantasy storylines too, and it would be wonderful to find a new trilogy like LOTR, Star Wars or POTC which I could get into. But Eragon just isn't good, and that's a shame. Go and watch the film, I think it is better to see for yourself what it is like.

I like your opinion on Sofia Coppola! She is a director where you have to keep an open mind and understand that her expression of themes and ideas won't be typical.
