I bought Cynthia a book of photographs by Jan Saudek, a Czech photographer I had never heard of. I'm really interested in his work. It's erotic, sleazy, textural and intimate. This is one of his most tame, but reminded me of Man Ray. Please check him out: www.saudek.com

Yeah, Saudek is good -- his stuff reminds me of Helmut Newton if Newton could tone it down about six notches. He's a good one.

Take a look at some of Larry Clark and Wolfgang Tillmans' stuff, too.

LOVE Tillmans. Saw an exhibit of his at MCA last summer and it was awesome.
