A boy:A girl [Writing] Of Sun Showers

So this is kind of going against a drabble, but it's still the same theme so yeah.

Title: Of Sun showers

“It’s beautiful isn’t it?” she whispered as they huddled together under the big spruce tree as the rain continued to poor down from the creamy orange skies. Her companion shrugged as their blue orbs continued to watch the graying downpour

“It’s unusual” he admitted and she rolled her eyes, sticking her hand out to catch the falling raindrops

“That’s all you have to say? You’re no fun” she mumbled, entranced by mother natures gift

He shot her a look of annoyance, and maybe cause they had originally planned for a picnic on the beach, but that was all ruined now. Instead they clung to another’s shivering forms watching the somewhat cheery rain

“Well have you ever seen clear rain fall from an orange sky?” he snapped and she smiled leaning her head against his shoulder

“No… but it’s the most wonderful sight in the world”

“I could think of better” he grumbled, his arms slinging loosely around her waist, and though he acted angry, inside he was content

“I wish we could stay her forever” she whispered in awe as the heavy rainfall started to let up, the shame of the sun shower. They were so beautiful, and yet terribly short

He gave her an odd look, but said nothing. Instead opting to dip his head down to meet her, their mouths twitched with a smile before someone’s lips claimed the others in greeting. A simple kiss, pure, innocence and passionate, like the waning summer days ahead of them

Pulling part regrettably as the sun shining brightly behind the clouds (though the orange sky) started to clear and bright blue filled them once more, it was almost if the past 30 minutes hadn’t happened at all. She smiled at him shyly, as she stole a brief kiss, eyes locking as fingers danced through wetted down blonde locks

“Because…” she paused trying to fight down the fluttering in her stomach, “Then I’m with you”

He didn’t say anything, no words were needed save for the following kiss afterwards.

The sun twinkling merrily down at them.
