I keep a plethora of notebooks and notepads around in case i need to write something down, which is always. I have books for spiritual progress, Bible wisdom, studies, journal entries, creative writing, and all sorts of other topics, separate and mashed together. Now, i don't have the time to come and make deep and meaningful entries about my life ( Read more... )

I stumbled on your LJ community last night challengin_god. I read your testimony and I thought it was one of the most fantastic, wonderful testimonies I have ever read. I also read every, single comment from it and was just horrified at the things that were said to you. But I understand how people are. I get the same kind of stuff all of the time.

I know EXACTLY how you and your wife feel. I wish people understood that what we want is for everybody to have the same joy that we do, for everybody to know the wonders of God and what He can do in someone's life. I talk him all the time, every chance I get, anyways, and sometimes I'll MAKE the chance! :)

I joined your wife's community sacred opinion, but I could not join challenging_god. I would be in a real mess if I were to join it because I would be arguing a LOT. I don't mind stating my opinions, defending my faith, talking about the Bible, but I get attacked enough without jumping into what you went through ( ... )

People on every side of an issue have a stunning capability to be insensitive. I expected worse than i got on that post, actually. :)

Yea, it can be quite hairy at times. I don't blame anyone for leaving or not wanting to join in the first place.

I added you and to my friend's list and would love to add your wife, also. If you do not want me to, please let me know and I will remove you. But, either way, I just wanted to tell you how fantasic and overjoyed I am for your conversion and your testimony. :)

:) You're welcome to friend me, though now you'd probably want to friend advoir, since that's where i'm writing now. Be well!

Oooh! Recipe!

I do devilled eggs two ways: one is slightly spicy and uses Tobasco sauce (just a drop), and the other uses curry powder.
