♥ I kinda wanta watch Merlin because so many on my f-list rave about it. Then there's stuff like this and meta comparing Merlin and Arthur to Lex and Clark.

But my heart just can't handle a new species of boylove. It is still (always) a bit broken because of the clex. And with Chuck's future hanging in the balance, I am wary of growing attached ( Read more... )

Please watch Merlin! It is such a delight. Merlin and Arthur and the actors force me to make tiny squeaking noises of love.

(Also, have you watched these clips from the Merlin cast video diaries? They are adorable.)

I hear you on feeling burned by shows that don't have a long life. I did enjoy Merlin because of it's cracktastic gayness, and also recommend Leverage, and have enjoyed Fringe, but not as much as the first two. And summer is coming, so lots of time to catch up on shows while other shows are on hiatus.

So many great shows. So little time to see them before some asshole network exec drops an axe or the writers go stupid overnight and screw them up :O

Too true. My heart got broken by SGA, and before that, the X-Files. But that doesn't stop me from enjoying new shows. Maybe I'm optimistic. Or masochistic. I can't decide.

But Merlin. Aaaahh Merlin. ;) It has the pretty and it's so gay and anachronistic and it's already an AU... it's become like a soothing balm to my weary fannish soul. I wasn't even looking for anything, really. But the show does make me happier. (maybe cause the fics are mostly happy-making stuff too) *g*

I have Leverage eps downloaded halfway through the season and I can't wait to see it! Yay! (thanks for the utube link, have to see it later when I have audio)
