I have written ten incomplete sentences referring to characters from my favorite fandoms without naming them.

Actually... you're supposed to give me a list of characters. The incomplete sentences you post in your own journal when you do the meme yourself :p But - ooh. Good sentences. Maybe if I match the people I was referring to in my sentences with your actual sentences...

Just a little bit of silliness :p

It wasn’t that they couldn’t get to her.

It’s just that nobody at the JLA really wanted to. Or-

Well. Yeah, wanted to. But not in exactly the same way they wanted to “get to” the other evil criminal masterminds.

So they sent Clark. Because they all assumed that being Kryptonian (and in the midst of the worst dry spell his sex life had ever seen) meant somehow that he was immune to the CEO’s charms.

“You won’t get away with this, Chase.” Clark really hated when she made him say that. It was a perfectly respectable line when uttered in the face of most shady, megalomaniac types. But in the face of one of the most beautiful women on the planet (not to mention one of the richest and most powerful) it just made him want to blush

Part II

“Um... teenagers. A couple of middle-aged women. Some college guys...” Clark flipped through the stack - magazine clippings and screen captures of popular television programs and local news footage. The more he flipped and answered, the more confused he became - what did this have to do with turning his ancestral crest into a gimmick for selling high-priced clothing?

“Uh-huh. And what are these poor, misguided people wearing?”

Clark blinked. He flipped backward through the stack, glancing at each photo again.

“Parkas and ski-caps. Pantsuits. T-shirts...”

“What colors?” Chase asked, like she was demanding the solution to world hunger. She leaned forward in her desk chair, her cherry red nails reflecting in her glass desktop so that it looked as though she had two extra sets of sharp, bloodied teeth at her fingertips. What a comforting mental image.

“What colors are they wearing?” Chase repeated.

“Uh...” Red. And blue. Clark did blush as he realized - with sudden, sickening clarity - where all of this was going
