for many years now, my dad has encouraged me to look at salvation army and goodwill for furniture.  he has gotten some amazing deals there.  i can't say that i've had much luck with the furniture, but i have had luck with children's books and games.  at goodwill today, i got 16 children's books for $8.00!!  several of them were chapter books, too

ha! OMG.. please. I totally mentioned these places to someone who is preggo and bitching about the costs of supplies, and you'd think i told her to go dumpster diving. crazy! But hey. whatever.. Let her spend a fortune.. its not my problem..

I donate to good will all the time....I have donated many nice things to include, right before I was unexpectedly deployed to Iraq in 2006, beautiful new furniture....someone got really lucky...
