Brown Oxford. Black Oxford. Brown Oxford with 3/4 brogue. Black Oxford with 3/4 brogue. Brown Oxford gimped and brogued… etc…etc…

It has steel shanks for arch support...unless you're talking about orthotics, which I can build to accommodate. I have purple kid skin (goat) in the next room....

I draw the patterns directly on material that conforms to the selected (and sometimes modified last) so, they really are sculpted for each individual foot. Depending on the shape of the lastform's topline I can use that curvature to create lines that blend and follow the curvature of the individual's foot.

Cordwaining *is* all about art... considering the *need* for cordwainers have been replaced by factories ... art as it applied to the aesthetic quality as well as the craftsmanship involved.

(But then, I can get really, really obsessive about shoes...)
...I know this feeling, it keeps me up late at night. :D
