Christ, it’s hot today. I’ve been sitting here uploading these screenshots without my shirt on, it’s that bloody hot. Good old Australian summers.

I do not do well in summer. :B

Still, there’s only one way to really beat the heat...and that’s with screencaps of Illusion of Gaia!

Well, I use VisualBoyAdvance, and for that you just open it and go to Options > Joypad > Configure > [number] and set everything. Then once you do that, you just play through and tap the cappin' button just like you would with ZSNES 8D VERY CONVENIENT. Though if you don't/can't use VBA, I imagine it's pretty similar for something else.

I think that's a pit of bugs that he lands on. Beetles and whatnot. It explains the noises. :(

I dislike-yet-like how the game has explorers going where Will is going and getting killed. It shows how skilled Will is, in contrast. Or lucky.

Gaaaah. That city-scene...so depressing. Yet true. It's sad how things are going to turn out, yet it's the future and it's how things are...I'm not making sense, but it's still sad.

:( More slave trade. I can't imagine what it would be like to grow up weaving carpets.

Oh, gross. I'm not sure it's beetles, but you know what? I don't think I want to know.

I'm more of the opinion that Friezer and co. are just giant wusses, running away with their arms flailing from bushes, screaming like little girls. :D

That 'it's all grey...' line really stuck it for me. He's right, too. :(

There was actually a bit of a grey area here. I doubt the women actually want to weave carpets their whole lives, but I think these ones are actually beign PAID for it.

I did give all those games a shot at one time or another, buuut...lessee, I think I couldn't get my head around SD3's battle system, Bahamut Lagoon was downloaded just before my computer died, and EVO is just far too bloody hard. That goddamn shark boss, I swear.

Euuuugh. Hey, you know from the side they look sort of like the aliens in Alien.

The Bush! They really just jump up, run around for a bit, then hide. Easily dealt with, but they can be tricky to spot.

Oh, man, I hate enemies like that. You're just walking around minding your own business, and suddenly the landscape's attacking you!

And their arms spin around and around and god I can just image them doing a 'two-four-six-eight' and it is HILARIOUS.

I KNOW WHAT THAT STATUE IS, DARNIT, WHY CAN'T I REMEMBER? :( Some sort of Cambodian god or demon, I'm sure.

Earthquaker is actually almost entirely useless. The Dark Friar is really Freedan's only useful power.

I am not even sure anymore. I've never really seen him as a hero through all this, though: he's always just been a kid put through some serious stuff.

Ohhh, good. Although right now my guess is that it's our present, since this is meant to be Earth.

Wellll... maybe "hero" isn't exactly the word I'm looking for. But, on the side of good. Wouldn't it be horrible, though, to do all this quest stuff and go through all this and then find out you were working for the wrong side?
