Christ, it’s hot today. I’ve been sitting here uploading these screenshots without my shirt on, it’s that bloody hot. Good old Australian summers.
I do not do well in summer. :B
Still, there’s only one way to really beat the heat...and that’s with screencaps of Illusion of Gaia!

It's a temple...of DOOM!!! )

Once I hit the last update, I'll post up a list of possibilities...I dunno, the day after or something.
Nullifying the power of magical crystals with the power of a pair of kickin' shades yeeeaaaahhh

I dislike-yet-like how the game has explorers going where Will is going and getting killed. It shows how skilled Will is, in contrast. Or lucky.
Gaaaah. That city-scene...so depressing. Yet true. It's sad how things are going to turn out, yet it's the future and it's how things are...I'm not making sense, but it's still sad.
:( More slave trade. I can't imagine what it would be like to grow up weaving carpets.
Endgame endgame...*hmms* Ever play Seiken Densetsu 3? (Secret of Mana 2, in english)
Or Bahamut Lagoon?
E.V.O. Search for Eden?
*digs through rom files* What else do I have...
Well, either way, Summon Night would be fun. Lacking in story, but fun. *shrug*
I look forward to whatever's next!

I'm more of the opinion that Friezer and co. are just giant wusses, running away with their arms flailing from bushes, screaming like little girls. :D
That 'it's all grey...' line really stuck it for me. He's right, too. :(
There was actually a bit of a grey area here. I doubt the women actually want to weave carpets their whole lives, but I think these ones are actually beign PAID for it.
I did give all those games a shot at one time or another, buuut...lessee, I think I couldn't get my head around SD3's battle system, Bahamut Lagoon was downloaded just before my computer died, and EVO is just far too bloody hard. That goddamn shark boss, I swear.
Thanks for the suggestions, though! :D

The Bush! They really just jump up, run around for a bit, then hide. Easily dealt with, but they can be tricky to spot.
Oh, man, I hate enemies like that. You're just walking around minding your own business, and suddenly the landscape's attacking you!
"Autobots, transform and cheer squad!"
Hahahhahahah oh my god, they DO look like weird robotic cheerleaders when they do that!
Why did it have to be not snakes?
...Tentacle god statues? :O
"Rumor says that you can gain immortality here where the spirits live, but all I saw were demons..."
...I'm guessing the rumors are completely factual and just don't mention that you can also get turned into a demon. :<
Oh, Earthquaker sounds sweeeet.
On closer inspection, I guess they don't have tentacles, and just have snakes draped over them.
"Left? Right!"
"No, I said le- he's gone."
It looks like the holes and the stairs just lead to the same place, anyway.
Prepare yourself, guys. This is the biggest ( ... )

I think this is the only instance of that in this game. KER-BUSH'D!
And their arms spin around and around and god I can just image them doing a 'two-four-six-eight' and it is HILARIOUS.
I KNOW WHAT THAT STATUE IS, DARNIT, WHY CAN'T I REMEMBER? :( Some sort of Cambodian god or demon, I'm sure.
Haha, yeah. "Yeah, you'll live forever, but you'll be transformed into a hideous monster and spend the rest of eternity in hellish torment wandering around this temple. Is that okay?"
"Uh..."
Earthquaker is actually almost entirely useless. The Dark Friar is really Freedan's only useful power.
Yup. That city cutscene will be explained in due time.
I am not even sure anymore. I've never really seen him as a hero through all this, though: he's always just been a kid put through some serious stuff.
Yup. Can't believe I was dumb enough to miss that. :B
FUNNILY ENOUGH, THEY DON'T.

And it really, really looks like they have batons or something, too. XD
"Um, I think I changed my--"
"TOO LATE."
Huh, too bad. It seems like you could just use it over and over and keep all the enemies around you stunned... does it take too long to charge?
Ohhh, good. Although right now my guess is that it's our present, since this is meant to be Earth.
Wellll... maybe "hero" isn't exactly the word I'm looking for. But, on the side of good. Wouldn't it be horrible, though, to do all this quest stuff and go through all this and then find out you were working for the wrong side?
I GUESS IT'S A GOOD THING THOSE DEFINITELY AREN'T KANGAROOS, THEN, BUT A COMPLETELY UNRELATED AND ORIGINAL CREATION
