They were silent when it happened, rolling of hips and gasps of ‘senpai’ echoing through the room. Touch was everything as they ground together, lips pressing, hands roaming, Naoto’s cheeks burning red.

Neither was experienced, that much was true, but they were young and willing to learn. Souji ran hands through her mop of blue, leaned in with gentle movements, whispered how beautiful she was. She didn’t believe him, never believed him, but he knew what he was saying was true. Underneath him, boyish figure masking curves, she was beautiful. He’d shout it from the rooftops if she’d let him.

Raz/Lilly, first date.

Raz always had trouble talking around her; everything seemed too dumb, too uninteresting to talk about unless it was about what happened at camp, or Psychonauts stuff, or…like, girly stuff. Makeup and clothes or whatever. What were you supposed to talk about with a girl?

He glanced up at her from his Slappy Meal, Lily casting a look back; they immediately looked away. He slurped his soda while she cleared her throat, the hum of the food court unheard around them.

“So, um…” Something anything, just say the first thing that comes to mind.

“Wanna make out?” she said.

“…okay.”

Claire bit her lip, watching her brother dig yet another bottle of that awful stuff out of the fridge. This was starting to get ridiculous; he’d slam down at least eight of them a day, making that weird grunting sound, then work out until nightfall. It was understandable to be prepared after what he’d been through - after what they’d both been through - but this was verging on addiction.

“Don’t you think you should cut back on the protein drinks for awhile?”

Chris stared at her, scoffed, then started chugging down another. Claire sighed.

Orpheus sighed as Thanatos crawled closer across the futon, yammering something about warmth and kittens and fusing Mara. Words were lost through the blasting of his headphones, but the actions were clear, Thanatos tugging his arm to get him to turn around. Yes, sir.

It became clear when Thanatos leaned his back against his, Orpheus blinking a few times before letting it go with a sigh. It couldn’t be that comfortable, but his boss insisted.

It was five minutes before Thanatos started to sneeze. He hadn’t even noticed Orpheus turn down the music so he could listen to him breathe.

Kyle stared at Louie over the cardboard box, watching carefully; the kid had never been one to hide his emotions, after all; didn’t exactly make him the best punk on the streets. He glanced sideways at Bradley, tilting his head towards the youth. What do you think?

An enigmatic smile and a shrug in return. Shut him down.

Kyle leaned forward, Louie flinching with a yelp as all the cards were turned over at once, no queen of hearts in sight. There it was.

“Next time you try that, Louie…” Kyle sighed, clicking the cuffs on, “…pick a better mark.”
