All right, it's been...15 days! Time to finally do another episode. I'm really sorry it took so long, but in between schoolwork and work and being sick and the cat going into the hospital...well, it's taken me awhile to get back to my usual chipper nature. Still, here we are!

There are no basic Pokemon in Jonesy's hand! )

I think it's been that long since I last read Megatokyo. How time flies.

I finished the whole archive last night. It's quite interesting, the direction he's taken it!

:o I actually have a copy of Legend of the River King lying around somewhere. Fun game.
Fighting type Pokemon are really interesting in the trading card game because it lumps together fighting, rock, and ground. All flying Pokemon (from Pidgey to Zapdos) are unaffected by ground moves, so in the TCG they all have a fighting resistance. Electric Pokemon are weak against rock and ground, so the have a fighting weakness. In the end, Hitmonchan could do minimal damage against, say, Spearow, and be super-effective against Pikachu, even though that technically makes no sense.
I ended up with a fighting/grass deck this past time. Hitmonchan, Pinsir, and good ol' Weedle.
WIGGLYTUFF!!! >( I hate that attack so much. Stupid Wigglytuff one-shotting everything. >(

Yeah, Legend of the River King was one of my favourite games as a kid. I was considering doing that instead of Pokemon TCG for the next adventure...but it doesn't exactly come across too well.
I know, right? Delcat mentioned this game just throws all the preconceptions other Pokemon games give you COMPLETELY out of whack. It's crazy.
