Sighing, Aziraphale checked his watch a last time. He'd ordered several boxes of books to be delivered to the Manor today, and the delivery was due within the hour. He went downstairs, wishing he'd still had his cane around.

And then he saw the familiar face at the lobby and his face brightened. "Uriel!" he cried, going over to her. "How lovely to see you. How are you doing?"

Uriel looked up as she heard Aziraphale's voice. "Oh, well enough, considering the circumstances," she said, her hand brushing lightly her stomach.

She gathered her courage -- Aziraphale was bound to notice soon anyway. "At least the doctor said I'm doing well; I just came back from an appointment."

The doctor?" Aziraphale asked in surprise. "Whyever would you need..." His voice trailed off, and he glanced down at her visibly rounded stomach.

"Oh."

"Yes, oh." Uriel smiled weakly. "You're the first one to notice, by the way."

Inwardly, she was about to die of nervousness. How would Aziraphale react?

Bast felt uriel's fizz of emotions even as she leapt from the top of the desk (it had become one of her favourite sleeping places as of late) and on to the angel shoulders - being a fairly small cat, this wasn't a bad as it sounded. She studied the picture. //Hmm. Wel, at least you can see what your kitten looks like too now. Who you gonna show next?.//

"I wouldn't exactly call it a kitten," Uriel said, but smiled anyway. "I don't know who to show it to, though -- I don't know if anyone would be interested." A tiny grin curled her lips. "Whoever I can trap next, I suppose."

She glanced around, seeing nobody new she could subject to the very first picture of her baby. Maybe somebody would come along. Maybe not. She would see.

A pink and yellow butterfly flitted by the angel and cat goddess.

"I like kittens. They're a bit like kitchens... but furrier. Who's having kitchens?"

Delirium perched awkwardly on the pink chair and tilted her head curiously at Uriel.

"Nobody's having either kitchens or kittens as far as I know," Uriel replied, smiling. Her reaction to Delirium's presence wasn't as violent as it had been the first time around, but she still felt happier than before the Endless's arrival.

"I, however, am having a baby. Look at it. Isn't it adorable?" She beamed happily, proudly showing the ultrasound pictures to Delirium.
