I'd really love to do this with my car at some point. The Frozen Gray and other matte finishes on some of those special edition M3s are just smoking hot.

It's kinda exciting, the notion of a complete yet temporary change..

I wonder how much it costs to have it put on. I've seen a couple of threads on the BMW forums from people that have done this on their own in their garage (with good results), but with a daily driver as my only car, I can't exactly spend a week painstakingly applying film. Plus, I suck at wrapping presents.

From what I can glean, expert jobs like this start at 2K..one hopes it catches on and becomes more available and less expensive, but on the other hand, it's still cheaper than a deluxe paint job.
