Autism Rocks!

Today was very interesting indeed. Around 7:30, I get a call from the high school asking if I can come in to work today. I was still asleep and could have slept more, but I like getting money ($85 a day for 5 hours of work rocks!). So I made it in, expecting to be in charge of a regular class again......God was I mistaken

I am glad to see that you overcame your fear and prejudice over autism. While autism is pretty well...recognized, it comes in a plethora of forms. Too bad you didn't get the type that has a leprachaun sitting on his shoulder telling him to "burn them...BURN THEM ALL." :-) IN all seriousnes, I have had the fortune of having been in situations with autistic kids...and they are allright. As long as they don't set me on fire, I have no beef with them. Now, if I only had a talking "Rainman" doll that could count cards and have me cheat in Vegas.....
