Aw~ Thanks. ♥ Mello and Near are so integral to each other's characters that it hurts.

It's like his body has become Mello's tomb, an elegy composed of flesh and blood.

I'm going to cry now. Adding to memories.

A friend gave me this link today, and I must leave a comment about it, because this is AMAZING. Purely amazing.
You have described the Near I have inside my mind, I find this piece so perfect!!

I'm glad that you like it. (: This was my first attempt at writing something Near-centric, so that means a lot.

Whaaaa I found this randomly but I had to comment *.*

It's so nice (*O*) And I really like how you simple make the viewers understand how Near misses Mello ;___________;

And your comment is appreciated! I was going for a straight-forward drabble, so I'm pleased that you decided to bring that up. Both Mello and Near have the ability to be so complex and yet are relatively simple at the same time. Their relationship is one of my favorites. :3

Even though this is a very short little vignette, I think that it's very effective in elliciting an emotional response. I love that it conveys a feeling of desolate, antiseptic blandness that seems real and believable. I always thought that Near would have to be very lonely at the end of DN, all by himself like that- it's sad, but seems really right to me overall. Realy well-written there, please do write more-!!

I'm glad that the image I wanted to portray was successful. Near's just one of those people who's never destined to be happy, he lost everything before he gained the title of L, it's almost like it was an empty accomplishment. Or at least, I've always seen it that way.

Thanks for reading~ ♥ And I apologize for the delay of this response, I've been bogged down with work.
