Wow, that sounds so sad. Do his parents really feel that bullying will magically make their son so called "normal"?? You must really love each other to put up with all the crap. Do you have support from others?

Yes, we do have a circle of supportive friends, including my sister http://lizamanynames.livejournal.com/ and people on her side of the family. Most of the people who DO treat us like family ARE NOT genetically related to EITHER of us AT ALL. I never tire of saying that my sister http://lizamanynames.livejournal.com/ and people like her have taught me that Agape (as in 1st Corinthians 13) is thicker than DNA, contrary to popular belief that "blood is [supposedly always] thicker than water." SOME CONTEXT: My sister http://lizamanynames.livejournal.com/ is the biological-daughter of my stepfather and my biological-mother. I feel that my stepfather is my True Dad, and that my biological-mother (she died of cancer in 1993) was my True Mother, whereas I regard my biological-father as having been my "sperm-donor" and my stepmother as my "sperm-donor's bxtch" (My biological ( ... )
