I was never really fond of this episode, except that for that scene between Uhura and Spock.

I found myself enjoying it more this time around than in previous viewings. I'm certainly impressed in retrospect at how quickly the series is finding its feet!

It did seem to find its place very quickly, a credit to both the writers and actors.
