what's time got to do with it?

I think I'm a goal-driven person; i.e. I go through the day with tasks/goals/accomplishments I want to complete, and I work from completing one to go to another. I tend to be pretty prompt, myself. I don't know if it's a matter of thinking so much about the time, as of hating to keep people waiting - since when others keep me waiting I feel like they've discounted the importance of my own feelings. If they want me to think I don't matter that much in their lives, it sure gets the message across.

I'm getting better at not taking it personally. I've learned to consider that real things can come up that prevent a person's being on time.

I guess, since I put such a high priority on being on time to meet people that it creates a stronger association between caring and timeliness in my mind.

yeah - I found this great article about different reasons people are late, instead of on time - I think people who are on time work hard at it: so that it becomes important to them that other people respect them & take the same effort: but to the tardy-folks (like me) it's not effort .. er, as much as distraction!

I'll see if I can find that link - it was really helpful to me & I should review it for more motivation!!
