I really like the detail work on cake number 1. What an interesting idea. Are you counting down the cakes, yet? And have you sold your business? I don't remember what you were planning to do in that regard.

3 cakes next week
as it turns out 3 cakes the following week - much for that week will be done before I leave town on Sunday (Nov. 4) to start my new job.

They are so very pretty. I am going to miss your cake updates once you start your new job. You are very gifted. I don't think I ever saw a cake of yours that I didn't want to taste it.

I love the Fall season and that second cake really is heart-warming.
