So there's this fic by sam_storyteller called Cartographer's Craft that, despite pairings that usually stop me from ever reading a fic is absolutely fantastic, and full of brilliance so you must all go and read it! In any case, I did a book cover for it. Hope you all like!

Hello! I was pointed here by sam-storyteller, and I wanted to tell you I adore this cover. It is very, very pretty.

The guy you picked for young!Sirius is exactly like I'd imagined him, leather jacket and all, and the maps in the background are made of win!

I also like the type of letters you used for the title, and that they are secondary to the image and not pasted all over it, like on most book covers.

*nods* I was wondering who on earth to use, and then it hit me. He's the guy who plays John Connor in the new TV series, and fits the bill perfectly.

And thank you! Glad that you like it, and yeah - words taking over the entire picture can be very annoying (unless that's the point mind you).

Well, it's always useful, especially to dimwits like me who never spot typos until two weeks later or something. Just slightly embarrassing, but better than never knowing and thus never fixing it!

Like the icon, I must say. Always knew which side he was on, even if not many at work believed me.
