I did watch the Doctor Who finale and I was going to comment on it. But the weekend got away from me somewhat. I was at that party and there was drinking, then there was football the next day so it was back to the pub to watch that which meant more drinking, then there was yet more football. This is brilliant and lovely and perfect. I love the way the Doctor doesn't quite understand that children aren't just short humans. It's wonderful.

To me Eleven seems a bit more alien than Nine or Ten and I really can see him thinking of his companions as humans of varying heights.

This season was nice and all, but I would like to rewrite time and insert this. It's more adorable than a basket of napping kittens!

I keep trying to decide on a favorite part to quote and coming up "all of it." Maybe the conversation with Sarah Jane and the whole birthday section. I love how the Doctor's main awareness of something odd about traveling with someone as young as Amelia is that she's a bit short, and I love how calm she is in the face of so much weirdness.
