The AFA is at it again, but this time, they worded their poll question so that you can't compromise.

Ah well, screwing up their poll will still be fun.

I don't mind Intelligent Design in a social studies class. People believe it, it affects our social fabric, and so kids should know about it. Or if there's a class on religion or philosophy, it could go there.

Just not "alongside" evoluation, which goes into a science class. Intelligent Design is something, but it ain't science.

I'm okay with teaching Intelligent Design if we can also include teachings from other cultures, like the earth is a flat disk balanced on the back of a giant turtle...

I personally think that Intelligent Design should be taught in schools. Bible schools. And certainly not in science class.

Well, yeah, when you advertise solely to people who think like you do, you get results that read like yours.

Yeah, I thought about that right after I posted that. It just makes me sad that even one person thinks that way.

The last time they did a poll, it got spread around the Internet enough that the people who weren't narrow-minded bigots managed to hijack the poll with more votes than the traditional AFA members could cast.

Ahhh.... In much the same way that "Hank, the Angry, Drunken Dwarf" was winning the Sexiest Person of the Year contest.
