So, I'm moving this month into SE Portland, around 45th and a bit south of Holgate. Not as close to downtown as I'd like, but hey, it's a house, and a pretty one to boot. As to the couch, try www.freecycle.com. If someone wants it, they move it for you.

As for the lawyer, you might want to try the local law school (assuming there is one.) The school here offers free help from their last year students, but the students are continually supervised.

The couch smells. I wouldn't want to inflict it on anyone.

Time to check and see if there's a law school in the area, though. Good idea.
