Netcord Volume 5 Sign-Ups
Before signing up, please read the rules post. Hopefully, it will be able to answer any questions you might have. If you still have questions, feel free to contact liroa15, and we’ll try and sort everything out as quickly as possible.
Theme
The theme of the fifth volume is AU, or Alternate Universe. With this volume, we'd like to explore the idea of our favourite tennis players doing something--anything1--besides playing tennis. You want to write Roger Federer as a surgeon, Fernando Verdasco as a model, or Serena Williams as a fashion magazine editor? Go for it!(Keep in mind, the theme is not compulsory.) Remember, het, slash, and gen fics are all accepted.
Signing up is simple. Just leave a comment with the following info:
Also, remember each player is restricted to two (2) authors writing about him or her and two artists illustrating him or her (with one extra space for a gen fic/art). If the player has already been chosen twice, the editor(s) will ask you to change your sign-up. To make things easier, we’ll be making a list of all the players already chosen in this post. To that end, please be patient because the editor(s) do have lives and jobs, and we may not be able to update the list as promptly as anyone would prefer.
Deadline
Stories are due by November 24, 2012, 11:59 GMT. (This time zone was chosen because it’s easy to convert between it. A handy converter can be found here.) The rules post contains vital information about submitting your stories and artwork. Please make sure you read it all before submitting.
Extensions may be granted on a case-by-case basis. If you need an extension, it would also be greatly appreciated if you contacted the editor(s) as soon as possible. Waiting until the last moment makes it more difficult for everyone.
