Icons and Interests

Apr 27, 2007 14:38

This is in response to snowaltz who also did this at her journal. Basicly you pick 3 icons and 3 interests of mine and ask about them. If you take part then I get to ask the same of you, which you then answer in an entry at your journal. :D I think it's a cute way to get to know everybody better.

Here for the questions and answers )

buddhism, coffee, interests, psychology, childhood, know each other, religion, icons

heh, Well, the first Icon is easy as it pretty much goes with coffee listed as an interest. It could be listed as an addiction. :p The character is Yuki from Fruit's Basket and I am pretty sure he was actually drinking tea, but I didn't make the icon. Coffee Knows Best....well, it makes me think of this hilarious image I found...I have a host of coffee related images, maybe I'll share them in my next entry after Of Blood Pt 4? To emphasize my point it is 7:22pm here and I am drinking a Mocha Latte...ehheh ( ... )

I just finished reviewing Of Blood part 2 and my computer hang and the comment was lost =( I'll do it again tomorrow, sorry for the delay.

It's interesting to know mroe about you!

I love Encarta when my old computer has it. The game was fun, hehe. I asked about Buddhism cos' I myself is a Taoist and the two religions sometimes overlap. But please don't ask me more about Taoism, I don't know much about it *guilty look* cos' I just follow what my parents do.

I love coffee!! Yay for fellow fan =D I love coffee with milk and sugar, sweet but not overly sweet. Starbucks coffee are too sweet for me though.

I heard of Freud before, through one fanfic I read. I think it's about the concept of split personality. It sounded interesting in the fic but I never read up of it afterwards.

I see that you've watched Curse of the Golden Flower. I missed it when it came out for the local cinemas.. May I ask which country are you living in?

I'm curious, did you read Chobits before?

I'm in the usa, didn't get to see CotGF in theators either, my husband and I rented it.

We watched the anime, I have read a couple of the manga, but haven't sat and read straight through it. As is my usual sentiment, however, I hope to getting around to reading it at some point. I really enjoy CLAMP works, they might all be extremely similar, but I happen to enjoy the formula. :D Next though I think I'll be reading Lawful Drug by them.

I see.

I'm a big fan of Lawful Drug! I hope you will enjoy the manga as much as I do. Sometimes, I find that DouWata and Rikuou/Kazahaya are very similar. And I love the shounen-ai splashes, hehe.

ahhh I'm glad I'm not the only person who's noticed the similarities between all of CLAMPS guy couples. Kamui/Fuuma, Subaru/Seishiro, Yukito/Touya, ...they aren't all complete carbon copies, but they definitely seem to follow a type of trend when they set this stuff up. It can also be more broken down with the groupings, separating out their works for younger audiences like MKR and CCS from things like X and Tokyo Babylon...But I've definitely noticed a pattern to how things are and how things work out myself. :)

I just hope they get brave(or whatever) and give us more adorable coupley-ness this time.
